Community Development NWA
At Community Development they believe everyone deserves a place to call home. CD NWA provides a broad range of housing opportunities for seniors and families of Northwest Arkansas.
Community Development NWA recently announced a new 40-unit mixed-income development in Bella Vista. This is a significant advancement in Bella Vista as 11 of the 40 units in the apartment complex will have "steeply discounted rents" reserved for households earning less than half of the median income for Northwest Arkansas residents. Most of the other households in the development will also qualify for moderate discounts from market rents. This adheres to high demand for maintenance-free housing options for Bella Vista residents as NWA continues to grow.

Excellerate Foundation NWA
Excellerate Foundation's mission is to drive systemic change in Northwest Arkansas so that everyone can thrive by identifying needs, connecting individuals and organizations, and driving change that endures.
Excellerate recently broke ground on HOMES (Home Ownership Mutual Equity Solutions) a program in hopes to tackle housing affordability crisis and support educators in NWA. They are addressing the critical housing needs in Bentonville by providing affordable rental opportunities including 120 multifamily apartments and 40 single family cottages. This project is in Bentonville and tailored to teachers and educators.

Habitat for Humanity (Washington and Benton County)
Habitat for Humanity of Benton County, Inc. is a non-denominational Christian housing organization. They partner with community sponsors and families living in poverty to build safe, simple, affordable and energy-efficient homes. They are committed to building thriving mixed-income communities while preparing families for long-term economic stability.
Partners for Better Housing's recent project in Fayetteville, Willow Bend, is a mixed income neighborhood emphasizing a livable and walkable community. It is designed to bring people together with shared greenspaces, sidewalks, and tree-lined streets close to downtown. This project strives for more diverse, assessable, accommodating, and livable housing.

ULI recognizes the challenges cities in NWA are facing due to rapid growth in the region. Their Small Cities Initiative offers support tailored to each individual community and assistance in capacity building by providing communities with the resources and expertise needed to achieve growth management. Northwest Regional Housing Authority
Northwest Arkansas Regional Housing Authority is a Public Housing Authority that offers many programs to assist with housing related needs. They assist individuals and families in obtaining safe, suitable, and sanitary housing. NWRHA is a HUD Certified Counseling Agency and offers Housing Counseling in the form of financial management, rental and purchase education, and home maintenance.

Springdale Housing Authority manages public and Section 8 housing in the city, and ensures public housing complies with all applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations. Springdale currently has two public housing facilities, with a total of 197 apartments, including 10 designed for persons with disabilities.

Ozark Regional Transit/ NWA Public Transit
Ozark Regional Transit provides safe, reliable and affordable public transportation to both the rural and urban residents of the four-county area within our jurisdiction.
Ozark Regional Transit has both In Network- Fixed Routes and Out of Network On Demand trips. Fixed routes are free to cost for all citizens in NWA and has a system of scheduled bus routes and maps. On-demand trips are $1.25 a ride and can pick you up and drop you off at individually specified locations. Fixed service routes run Monday-Friday and On-Demand transit runs Monday-Saturday. They have multiple apps and trackers for bus schedules and times keeping you up to date on transit in the area.
